Faith in Time of Trail: Father Bohdan Geleta on Russian Captivity and long-awaited Freedom
Over the past year and a half, we have worried a lot, prayed and waited to get news and information about our Redemptorist priests, Father Bohdan Geleta and Father Ivan Levytsky, who have been in Russian captivity for a year and a half. On June 28, the fathers were released from captivity.

Shrine Ministry – Call for Volunteers
The Bishop Velychkovsky National Martyr’s Shrine at St. Joseph’s Ukrainian Catholic Church is one of the few Catholic Churches in Winnipeg open almost daily for visitors. Keeping the doors open is possible because of those who generously offer their time, a few hours a month, as a Shrine volunteer. We are very grateful to the community of Shrine volunteers. However, we could use more help.
If you live in the Winnipeg area, we invite you to consider the opportunity to participate in the Shrine Ministry as a volunteer and ambassador to welcome visitors and promote the cause of Blessed Vasyl. If you are interested in this experience, please fill in the form.
